HELP TO BUY NOW AVAILABLE AT BRABAZON

9 NOVEMBER 2020

New homes are now available at The Hangar District – the first phase of Brabazon. What’s more, with selected homes qualifying for both the Government’s Help to Buy scheme and the current reduced rate of Stamp Duty, now is the ideal time to step onto the property ladder. But the window of opportunity is closing.

WHAT IS HELP TO BUY?

The Help to Buy scheme, which is available exclusively on new homes, helps both first time buyers and existing home owners to move up the property ladder. By putting down a deposit of just 5%, you could qualify for a government Help to Buy Equity Loan worth 20% of the value of a home at Brabazon, with the remaining 75% covered by a mortgage from a participating lender.

However, the qualifying criteria for the current Help to Buy scheme are changing soon. Eligible buyers would need to reserve a new home at Brabazon available under the current Help to Buy scheme before 15th December 2020 in order to take advantage.

WHAT IS THE CURRENT STAMP DUTY HOLIDAY?

In July 2020 the UK Government announced a Stamp Duty holiday on property purchases worth up to £500,000 until 31st March 2021. This means that buyers will pay no Stamp Duty at all if they complete the purchase of their new home before the deadline, offering a saving of up to £15,000.

BUYING AT BRABAZON

Choosing a new home at Brabazon today not only means that you could take advantage of both the Help to Buy scheme and Stamp Duty holiday, but you’ll also move into a remarkable new home where quality is included as standard.
