  1. MEANDER AROUND THE MENDIP HILLS 

    The Mendip Hills are one of the South West’s most impressive areas of spectacular natural beauty. 

    To enjoy the beauty of this area to its fullest, we suggest you pack up your tent, and choose one of the many campsites that sit amongst the hills. Enjoy a toasted marshmallow on an open fire and even some stargazing if you’re lucky enough to stay on a clear night.
  2. ROAD TRIP TO THE ROMAN RUINS IN CAERLEON

    Less than an hour from Bristol lies the Roman ruins of Caerleon, South Wales. Maybe you’ve been inspired by the Roman town of Bath, right on our doorstep and fancy exploring somewhere different. Be it a day trip, or a getaway Caerleon is a great place to learn more about this amazing period in our history.

    From Roman fortresses to magnificent baths and even an amphitheatre, there is plenty to explore. You can even hear the stories of the Roman soldier who Caerleon home.

    But you’ll be pleased to know, that your accommodation won’t involve being cooped up in a cell! Located at the Southern end of the beautiful Usk River Valley, you can choose from some of South Wales’s best boutique hotels, guesthouses, and apartments, to rest your feet after a long day of exploring.
  3. CATCH A FLIGHT TO THE EMERALD ISLE

    Did you know that you can get to Dublin from Bristol in an hour? Ok, you may need to catch an aeroplane to get there in 60 minutes but it’s still very accessible from Bristol with flights departing daily.

    To make the most out of a weekend break in Dublin start by heading  to O’Connell street and taking a photo with The Spire of Dublin. Then take in the beauty of St. Patrick’s Cathedral before partying like an Irish at the Temple Bar. Or for a more sedate city break, explore the history of the city at Dublin Castle, cross the Halfpenny bridge, wander around the Dublin Flea Market, or smell the roses at the National Botanic Gardens.
