Families flocked to meet ‘The Birds’ Gromit sculpture perched on The Green at Brabazon and enjoyed a packed programme of free entertainment and activities.

Budding animators took part in art workshops, while others tested their circus skills with Lucas Jet. Visitors enjoyed live music from Mojo, got a sneak peak in the show homes at Brabazon and finished the day in style and rhythm with a Bollywood dance workshop. 

Throughout the day, Marshfield Farm served up their delicious ice cream, and much-loved independent bakery Mokoko was on site with barista coffee and their famous pastries.

Mokoko’s pop-up at Brabazon followed the exciting announcement on Friday that they will be opening their first North Bristol Mokoko location at The Hangar—a new local social community hub at Brabazon. 

The event was part of the Gromit Unleashed 3 trail, which brings art, families, and fundraising together in support of Bristol Children’s Hospital through The Grand Appeal.
